SSL Certificate Checker

The SSL Certificate Checker lets you inspect the TLS certificate for any public hostname. Enter a domain name and optional port to retrieve certificate details including the common name, subject alternative names, issuer information, validity dates, serial number, signature algorithm, and SHA-256 fingerprint. The tool displays a clear status indicator showing whether the certificate is valid, expired, not yet valid, or unreachable, along with the number of days until expiration. Warning badges highlight common issues such as approaching expiry, hostname mismatches, self-signed certificates, and connection failures. Connection details show the negotiated TLS protocol, ALPN protocol, and certificate chain length. Use this tool when auditing domain security, verifying certificate renewals, troubleshooting TLS handshake failures, or checking third-party service certificates before integration. All lookups are performed server-side for accuracy.
